43 Best Black Friday and Cyber Monday Deals on Furniture and Smart Home Gear (2021)
A matching light show for the onscreen action on your TV or monitor can add to the immersion for movies or games. The Govee Flow Pro light bars (6/10, WIRED Recommends) are easy to customize and emit pleasant diffuse lighting using a camera to match up to what’s happening on the screen. The effect is especially cool if you watch livestreamed concerts. The camera goes at the top of your TV, and it is a bit ugly. Also, you may have concerns about an internet-connected camera and microphone in your lounge.
Whether you’re looking to design the perfect yoga space or just chill out, an oil diffuser like this one from Muji can help. WIRED reviews editor Julian Chokkattu has the smaller version and loves it (it’s also on sale for $50 ($20 off). It’s a nice alternative to scented candles and you don’t have to worry about naked flames. It’s recommended for spaces around 100 to 133 square feet.
This deal is currently out of stock, but we’ll leave it listed here in case it comes back.
These cool hexagonal bulbs are featured in our guide to the Best Smart Bulbs. I have one in my office and love it. There are lots of options on the market, so check that guide out for additional picks. A single bulb usually sells for $20, meaning this deal is like getting a bulb for free. Don’t need three? Single bulbs are also on sale.

Burrow’s Black Friday sale offers up to 15 percent off, with additional savings based on how much you spend. We tested the Arch Nomad Sectional, which is a model that includes a chaise lounge and therefore costs a bit more, and included it in our guide to the Best Couches. All configurations are on sale, and they all feature quick assembly and plush, comfortable cushions.

WIRED reviews editor Julian Chokkattu has been testing this couch for a month or so and says it’s super comfortable—so much so that he, his partner, and his pup have all repeatedly fallen asleep on it instead of moving to the bed. It can fit the three of them too because it’s super roomy and long at 84 inches. It’s very easy to set up (perfect for anyone that moves around a lot), and the velvet upholstery is very soft to the touch.
There’s a lot to like about this comfortable couch, from the deep-set cushions that hold their shape to Allform’s commitment to sustainability. We also highlighted its stain resistance in our Best Couches guide. You can choose from a wide range of fabrics or leather finishes.
Specializing in couches for 1950s or ’60s-styled homes, Benchmade does a great line in luxury seating with a polished website that makes it easy to select the couch, color, and size you want. Senior WIRED reviewer Scott Gilbertson called this “the best-looking and most comfortable couch I’ve ever sat on.”

Some spots around the home simply cry out for a comfy armchair, and this one from Inside Weather made our Best Couches guide. You can customize arm style, upholstery, pillow shape, cushion shape, leg style, and more to get the perfect finish for your space. It’s also roomy for an armchair, with generous arms to set things on, and solid construction that feels like it will last.
Best Buy, Elephant In A Box ($960)
While this brand made it into our Best Couches guide, it is not the most comfortable around. But it is functional, very sturdy, and built to last. It is easy to assemble, with Velcro strips and bars that snap easily into place. You can choose from different optional segments—such as desk pop-outs on the arms and a matching ottoman—to turn it into the sofa you want.
This deal applies to more products than just the Sactional line, but those customizable, comfortable products are our favorites from Lovesac. The Sactional is featured in our guide to the Best Couches. We also really like the new and optional Stealthtech upgrade (8/10, WIRED Recommends), though it’s extremely expensive—so better to get it while it’s on sale.
Fully, Amazon (Click the Coupon Button)
The Fully Jarvis standing desk has been a WIRED Gear team favorite for a while. It’s the top pick in our Work From Home Gear Guide. The discounts are matched at Amazon on most options. Just be sure to clip the corresponding on-page coupon.
Need a new bed? Now’s one of the best times to shop. Mattresses go on sale many times throughout the year, but Black Friday means the offers can be even better than they would be during events like Memorial Day. We have a separate story dedicated to the best bed deals.
If you’ve always loved the idea of growing your own herbs or tomatoes, but you live in an apartment with little access to outdoor space, the AeroGarden Harvest Indoor Garden (8/10, WIRED Recommends) could be for you. It’s a hydroponic setup for your countertop with a smart companion app that’s easy to use, though the automatic colored lighting can be annoying.
Vacuum Deals
Amazon (Click the Coupon Button)
The WIRED Gear team loves this robot vacuum. It doubles as a mop, which helps it eviscerate any evidence that hardwood floors were ever dusty in the first place. This dipped to $470 during Black Friday, which beat last year’s deal by $130.
This is one of iRobot’s midrange Roombas, but it is still a solid pick if you’re entering the world of robot vacuums. It sports adaptive navigation to avoid obstacles, does a pretty thorough cleaning job, and comes with Alexa or Google Assistant support. We reviewed the similar Roomba 690 a couple of years ago and liked it.
We wrote up a separate story dedicated to this deal when it first went live. The deal is still live, but stock is extremely limited (it keeps fluctuating for us). If you missed it, try again later. Technically, it isn’t a smart vacuum, but it does convert from a stick vac to a hand vac. It also made our list of the Best Dyson Vacuums. There’s no voice assistance nor smartphone app, but we still think it’s an intelligent buy.
This model might be out of stock depending on your location. It may be a couple of years old, but the V10 (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is a light, powerful stick vacuum cleaner that’s easy to handle. It runs quiet, lasts around an hour, and charges up in less than four, but it can be tricky to empty without getting messy.

This self-emptying combination robot vacuum/mop will keep your floors clean with minimal effort. We mention it in our guide to the Best Robot Vacuums. The on-page coupon brings the price down lower than we’ve seen before. Add it to your shopping cart to see the deal price show up.
This is the Best Cheap Robot Vacuum, and thanks to the on-page coupon, it’s cheaper than ever. It runs for more than 100 minutes at a time, and it can deftly navigate obstacles like cords or stray socks.
Pet owners looking for one of the best robot vacuums should consider the S6 MaxV (7/10, WIRED Recommends). It is a powerful, fast vacuum, with long battery life. There’s an optional mop attachment and a camera, and it can avoid any messes your dog may have deposited.
While this is an older model, we find Eufy robot vacuums to be reliable and easy to use, and this is a deep discount on an already affordable device. It’s quite powerful, with reasonable battery life, but it is slow. Read our full review to learn more.
This is a similar version to the G30 Edge we recommend in our robot vacuums guide. It comes with strips you can use for marking boundaries that you don’t want the robot crossing.
Walmart, Best Buy, Bed Bath & Beyond, Amazon (Out of Stock)
Topping our best robot vacuums guide, the Roomba i3+ doesn’t just do a good job cleaning your floors, it even empties its own bin (though you will have to empty the big bin on the charging base from time to time). A full bin is the most common reason a robot vacuum stops cleaning effectively, so a self-emptying model that works is a big step up. Stock is limited, but you can still order it.
Robot vacuums have different features here or varying capacities there, but the bottom line is that they offer a convenient way to keep up with day-to-day dust-busting. Overall, we like iRobot models. The E5 5150 has special brushes to gather up pet hair, and it’s smart enough to base its cleaning schedules around your daily routines. Our roundup of the Best Robot Vacuums has additional recommendations. Depending on your location, this vacuum might be out of stock.
This robot vac was $50 cheaper earlier in the week, and while it may drop back down in price again, it’s still a good deal—that $550 price was the lowest we’d seen. The Roomba i7+ (9/10, WIRED Recommends) features a slate of enticing bells and whistles, not the least of which is its self-emptying behavior. Check out our full review for more info.
