Art in its out of doors, natural form will be on show for the Cleveland County Arts Council’s 2022 Back garden and Out of doors Residing Tour.

The celebration will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 4.

The self-guided tour will consist of seven outdoor living spaces and outside the house “artistry.”

The areas on the tour consist of:

Pine Corridor, Andrea Potts

224 Fairway Push, Shelby

Andrea and Patrick Potts acquired Pine Corridor in June 2016.

Earl and Montrose Mechum designed Pine Hall in 1973. Numerous of the home’s capabilities had been salvaged from historic residences across North Carolina, like the log cabin now named the Love Shack in honor of the next stewards, Frank and Virginia Appreciate.

The gardens at Pine Corridor are of a traditional southern yard with hundreds of plant varieties, which include boxwood, hydrangeas, rhododendrons, gardenia, laurels, azaleas, roses, foxgloves, hollyhocks, irises, hostas and more. The gardens at Pine Hall are dedicated to the memory of Patrick Potts, who, with his wife, experienced the vision to restore this home and gardens.
